the lady behind the lens

I am a wife, mom, friend, dreamer and believer. I am a daughter of the King, lover of life, and a photographer. I am originally from Brazil but Ohio has been my home for the past 32 years. I’m the proud wife of Tim—whom I met in Brazil years ago—and the mom of two amazing grown humans, Silas (25) and Jillian (21). I can’t forget to mention our beloved grandpup, Axel (5) who is the goodest boy in the world and the new member of our family, Scarlett (10 mos.) who is the cutest golden retriever there is!

I love being able to use my talent and passion for photography to capture special moments for my clients. I picked up my first camera when I was 13 years old and I’ll never forget the excitement I had when I looked at the images I had captured with my camera. That was just the beginning of this amazing journey. I can’t remember not having a camera or two, sitting around waiting for the next opportunity to be used.

My style of photography is relaxed and natural. I love to play with natural light and I would be honored to capture your most priceless moments, making sure that your session is unique and fun from the start. I take pride in connecting with people in a genuine, caring way, allowing them to feel at home and comfortable in front of the camera.

I’m confident that you will love your final images and see the joy I take in my work. Feel free to browse through these pages and if you like what you
see—colorful, joyful and authentic images—then you’ll know we’re a match!

I can’t wait to meet and work with you!

My most treasured people

My love, other half and friend. I couldn’t do this biz without him. He’s the tech guy that can fix just about anything.

Never a dull moment with this crew. The excitement and energy level are always high when they’re around. Axel and Scarlett are the best pups and we couldn’t love them more.

She’s bright and beautiful, inside and out. A daughter and friend like no other; honest, loving and loyal at all times.

What else I Enjoy doing

I love nature and spending time outside. In the spring I spend a lot of time taking pictures of new blossoms and colorful blooms with my macro lens. The Holden Arboretum is my favorite place to get these pictures. Macro photography allows me to keep my skills sharp and stay active all year round by finding something to shoot even during the slow winter months. I also enjoy exploring the parks and trails at the Metro Parks in our area. Working out and staying active are a great priority in my life, and my husband and I ride our bikes or go on long walks whenever we can. I also enjoy traveling and look forward to visiting my family in Brazil every year.

I fell in love with macro photography the moment I was introduced to a macro lens. The intricacy and beauty of every detail have captured my heart. Flowers are my favorite subjects to photograph in the macro world.
